The Tanzhaus offers five internal and one external studio for dancers and companies to train and rehearse in. The studios are fitted with sprung floors and PVC dance floor and each is equipped with a sound system for cassettes and CDs.

Studio Details
The Tanzhaus Zurich is committed to making affordable, rentable rehearsal space available for freelance contemporary dance professionals in Zurich. We therefore rent our studios first and foremost to professional dancers who work in the area of contemporary dance. Depending on availability, we are able to make exceptions. In this case, we ask that requests be submitted via email as early as possible, including details about the project, the number of participants and the ideal choice of studio.

Prices
The following prices are applicable to dance professionals and companies who are enrolled in the Tanzhaus:

Studio A, B & C: Sfr. 7.50 per hour
Studio Stage: Sfr. 10.00.- per hour
Main Stage: Rental either per day or per week, subject to arrangement. Prices on request.
Tanzwerkstatt: Sfr. 7.50 per hour

Prices for workshops, courses and events:

Studio A, B & C: Sfr. 40.- per hour

Studiobühne: Sfr. 50.- per hour (Sfr. 400.- per day)
Main Stage: Price on request
Tanzwerkstatt: Sfr. 40.- per hour

Room Rental
Every new user will be given a tour of all the rooms. We ask that you arrange an appointment for this by telephone in good time. After this tour, users can enter themselves in the booking schedule for the following four weeks. This reservation must be done personally in the administration office. We ask that every user reserves as early as possible! The rental period is restricted to five hours a day per user. Only those who are registered in the Tanzhaus are permitted to enter their name in the booking schedule.

Projects with fixed performance dates may reserve dates further in advance. In this case, we ask for a written request via email. This allows us to treat all requests as fairly as possible.

Users must notify the Tanzhaus of any cancelled reservations by 17.00 on the Friday of the preceding week. After this time the booking schedule is binding and is used for invoicing. We ask that you contact us via telephone in the event of short-notice cancellations. If the studio can be rented to another party during the reserved period, then the reserved period will not be invoiced.

Invoices: The booking schedule is binding for invoices. All hours that are reserved in the booking schedule will be invoiced.

Rehearsal rooms in Zurich
